2018 Audi A5/S5 Sportback first drive review

Wacky Germans have found a way to explore every automotive niche car known to man--and came up with a few of their own. 

The product line-up of BMW and Mercedes-Benz has grown to include every fad coupe,sedan, convertible, crossover, coupe-like crossover, hatchback, sedan and veloco-transport, plus multiple versions of the performance of each.

Audi has taken a more measured approach. Yes, the existing standards body style, but Audi is just checking out oddball items once. It came into 2010 with the release of A7.

This mashup sedan and hatchback, Sport back Audi calls it, immediately recognized for the beautiful appearance and quickly put together strong sales increases for mid size A6 brand line up.

For 2018 took an Audi in the idea that compact A4/A5 A5 Sportbackwith range-and more powerful sibling, the S5 Sportback. 

The idea is to add a segment sales increased compact while providing a sexy alternative to the practical choice versus the sedan and coupe.

The result is a car that fits between the Coupe and sedan in terms ofrear seat space, and even the sedan larger than when it comes to general usability. 

Compared with the A5/S5 coupe, Sportback has a 0.4 inch more headroom, guests more room head back 0.9 inches, and 2.4 inches more rear legroom. 

The space head-and legroom are both 0.6 measurement sedan, but the sedan has a 13-cubic-foot trunk, while the Sportback 21.8 cubic feet of space behind his cargo in hatch and that the area offers up to 35 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down open can.
