Strange PodRide e-bike which looks just like a toy car could be hitting our streets

At first glance, you would be forgiven for mistaking this little car for a toy for children.

But the four-wheeled vehicle is actually first all time e-bike in the world, designed tomake environment-friendly travel.

While the vehicle of PodRide is currently a concept, its designer says he plans to sellthe first batch of models later this year.

Product studies Mikael Kjellman engineer vehicle weird PodRide in Östersund (Sweden) with the basic idea of creating a protected climate and the most comfortable bike.

Making use of an electric motor, this e-bike road-legal car can travel long distanceseasier and cheaper while maintaining an eco-friendly trip.

Mr. Kjellman said: 'the basic idea of the PodRide is to have a protected time and thebike more comfortable.

"I put a lot of efforts in making it practical, but it turned out that pleasure to drive."

Design engineer Mikael Kjellman produced the bizarre PodRide vehicle in Östersund, Sweden, with the basic idea of creating a weather protected and more comfortable bicycle

PodRide allows drivers to sit at the same height as those of normal cars and with anextra space in the back for your bags and shopping bags.

Mr. Kjellman always knew the importance to make the vehicle practical.

He said: "at the front, I have let aeration, headlights and indicator."

I use this little electric heater to defrost the windows when parked outside in the winter.

With a range of 37 miles (60km) and a high engine speed of 15.5 miles per hour (25 mph) all about, PodRide is road-legal in Sweden and many other countries.

And today, the team plans to sell the first batch of models later this year, with an exact price yet to be confirmed.

Mr. Kjellman said: "it is still a prototype, but I've been driving to work for over a yearnow and it has proved to work very well."
